What do they serve?
Soulfood and Spirits
Why did we go there?
We love Pastrami Sandwiches
Expensive: Pastrami Sandwich - Small EUR 13 Large EUR 23
Wolf, one of the established Bars in the Glockenbach has gotten a baby. Little Wolf is just across the street and offers - not like its mother - food. They serve soulfood which sounds and is great. You can order meats like pastrami sandwiches, briskets and beef ribs. Meat is prepared in a smoker and yes - I have to say - the taste is amazing. Side dishes are among others beans & bacon or kimchi slaw; very tasty as well. Also the dessert - we hat banana bread with bacon - was delicious. Additionally, the interior is great, as are the music and the staff. But the prices are too hefty. Charging EUR 23 for a large pastrami sandwich (the one at NYC Katz is btw double as large), EUR 16 for six maybe eight bites of meat are really too much to stop by more frequently. The side orders, which you have to order to get somehow full, cost an additional EUR 5 each. Quality of course has its price, but if you have to pay at least EUR 30 (incl. 2 beers) and still have to eat at home a tuna sandwich there is something wrong. Plus, you mainly attract the Munich Bussi Bussi Society with this kind of policy; and who wants and needs just to sit next to them?
